Primo Kamado Round with Cradle
The round Primo Grill is a reflection of the ancient “Kamado” style of cooking which has been utilised in Japan for over 2000 years. Kamados were originally placed into the floor of the kitchen, but were advanced in the early 1600s to become high-end portable ceramic ovens, and maintained pride of place in the homes of the elite and urban communities for hundreds of years. We have updated the original design slightly, but the essential technology of the ceramic has been tried and tested for thousands of years. The ceramic construction ensures that heat is maintained within the grill, ensuring that whatever is being cooked is surrounded with heat, rather like a conventional oven. This means less turning of the food, and more efficient cooking.
